We posted an article on BelleairNews.com. It consisted of nothing conflicting.
The topic Belleair – Ladies Professional Golf Association.” The unkind comments from Mr. Jim Doe included, “you spend your entire day hating the Town you live in?” Don’t I have better things to do than “invent controversy”? He inquired if I was “failed journalism major” and suggested I “get a life, man!” I’d bet you’ve never even been to a Belleair Town Hall meeting – and you certainly wouldn’t identify yourself if you did. You’re a coward, James… stand up in the public eye instead of your fake, invented little podium of a newsletter. Or, if you must continue, learn how to SPELL! WOW!
His name-calling is a desperate move. I have attended town meetings, and if you believe in a Council-Manager form of government, then yes, it’s everyone’s responsibility to speak up. I didn’t concoct a platform/newsletter. I merely created a website that users who register with a real email address and follow the rules.
Anyone could participate and provide their opinions and viewpoints if he hadn’t masked his identity. I would have told him I don’t hate anyone or anything and certainly don’t hate a place I’ve lived for over 20 years. However, I’m not a fan of specific actions taken by the Town of Belleair Commission. As for inventing controversy, Belleair supplies enough, creating it isn’t needed. While you provided fictitious email and a fake name?
Not that it would matter to him? The post was written by and published on the Town of Belleair website. We only wrote. “It appears from the tone of the letter, the Town of Belleair is distancing itself from its original notices” “on the surface, giving the impression the town was a co-sponsor.”
Again, today I was blessed with another anonymous hate comment from the masked man Mr. Jim Doe. This one was regarding the BelleairNews.com Announces Two Milestones
He ranted about the Milestone article that had nothing to do with his rant saying…. Exactly as I would predict… you tried to explain that everything you’re writing is “in the public interest”. I have news for you… nobody is reading your drivel except the few that have nothing better to do than bitch. The rest of us are working hard to improve our community- including the elected officials you despise so much and the great families of Belleair that donate fully 30% of their income to charity and improvements.
Meanwhile, you continue to fester and boil over… and disseminate nothing positive. The REAL news is that we have a thriving community with increased home values, happy families and improved infrastructure. Only your news is FAKE news.
Again, I would have liked to debate my position. Unfortunately, Mr. Jim Doe, who called me a coward, telling me too stand up in the public eye instead of “your fake, invented little podium of a newsletter.” Provided another fictitious email and a fake name?
I also wrote a short article on the Belleview Inn. While still a draft, Mr. J. Deer Doe.
Blasted it. Said it was poor grammer. His spelling. Used distorted facts. I got from either Town of Belleair or Pinellas County. Corrected there is no City manager- it’s a Town…which is nothing other than semantics. He continued “saw one of your flock made a senseless accusation about collusion and the commission meeting this week being moved from a Tuesday to a Wednesday, proving the flock doesn’t attend meetings; it was decided at the last meeting to move the next meeting from March 17 to March 18 in consideration of St Patrick’s Day.”
Mr. Jim Doe, you can call me a coward, telling me to stand up in the public eye say I’m fake. Try to prove how smart and what a great citizen you are. But how about putting on your man pants and give me a call or supply a real email or stop hiding behind a female deer?
